Design & Process

What actually happens at the free in-home visit?

A senior designer comes to your home for about 90 minutes. They measure the space, talk through how you use it, sketch a plan, and prepare a full custom proposal. It is free and there is no obligation to go ahead. If you would rather start smaller, we also offer a free 20-minute phone consultation or a 30-minute video call where you walk us through the room on camera.

Can I get a sense of the cost before anyone comes out?

Yes. Every service page lists a starting price, and a free phone or video consultation will get you rough budget guidance. An exact number needs measurements, because the price follows the actual cabinets, materials and labour your space needs — which is why the visit is free.

General

Which areas do you serve?

We design and install across 26 cities in metro Atlanta and North Georgia — including Alpharetta, Marietta, Roswell, Cumming, Johns Creek, Duluth, Suwanee, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Decatur and Sandy Springs. Our showroom is in Cumming and our office is in Alpharetta. If you are just outside that list, call us — we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Can I visit a showroom before I commit to anything?

Yes. Our showroom at 745 Atlanta Rd, Suite 101, Cumming, GA 30040 is open Monday to Friday 9am–6pm and Saturday 10am–5pm. A showroom visit takes about 45 minutes and is free — you can see finishes, hardware and full-size cabinet samples in person rather than judging them from a screen.

Installation

Do you handle the plumbing and electrical work too?

We handle removal of the old cabinetry, the install itself, touch-up and final caulking, and we disconnect appliances. Work that legally belongs to a licensed trade — reconnecting gas and water lines, rerouting plumbing for a new vanity position, wiring for under-cabinet or closet lighting — is coordinated with our trade partners and itemised in your proposal, so nothing appears as a surprise later.

Materials & Finishes

What finishes can I choose from?

For kitchens: white, gray and navy shaker, natural wood, walnut, black modern, melamine white, and a premium custom option. Countertops come in quartz, granite or laminate, and backsplashes in tile or slab. Closets and built-ins use melamine, painted or premium wood finishes with matching hardware. We bring physical samples to the in-home visit — a finish never looks the same on a screen as it does in your light.

Pricing & Payment

What do projects start at?

Bathroom vanities start at $1,200, custom closets at $1,800, mudrooms at $2,200, pantries at $2,400, laundry rooms at $2,600, built-ins at $3,200, garage storage at $3,800 and kitchen cabinets at $4,800. Those are starting points, not estimates — your quote is itemised line by line: cabinets, hardware, countertops, removal of the old, installation labour and any trade work.

How do I pay, and do you take credit cards?

Final project payments are made by ACH bank transfer, check, wire transfer, cash, or through a financing partner. We do not accept credit cards for final project payments — the card fees on a project this size would end up in your price, and we would rather they did not.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, through third-party partners including Affirm, plus in-house promotional plans for approved buyers. Qualifying projects can get 0% APR for up to 12 months, and larger projects can be stretched to a low APR over up to 60 months. Most partners run a soft credit check that does not affect your score. You apply on the lender's own secure page — Closet Cabinet Pro is not a lender and never collects your financial details. All offers are subject to credit approval, and rates and terms vary by partner and project size.

Timeline & Lead Time

How long does a project take from first visit to finished room?

You leave the design visit with a proposal in hand. After you approve and sign, most closets install in a single day, and most kitchens install in three to five working days. Kitchens with new countertops take longer overall: the countertop is templated only after the cabinets are in, and fabrication then takes a further seven to ten days.

Warranty & Care

What warranty comes with the work?

Two years of workmanship warranty on our installation and five years of product warranty on cabinetry boxes, fronts, drawer slides, hinges and finished surfaces against manufacturing defects — in addition to any longer warranty the manufacturer offers. Countertops and specialty surfaces carry the fabricator's own warranty, which we register on your behalf and keep in your project file. Normal wear, accidental or water damage, and alterations by others are not covered; your signed contract has the binding terms.

A door has drifted out of alignment since the install — what do I do?

Call (770) 688-9983 or email info@closetcabinetpro.com with your project number and a few photos. Doors and drawers settling, hardware working loose, joints separating and trim needing re-securing are exactly what the workmanship warranty is for. We schedule a visit, look at it, and repair or replace what is covered — at no charge.
