The details that make it yours.
A selection of the most-requested accessories we build into projects in this category. Mix and match on your proposal.

Tall pull-out spice rack
Narrow vertical drawer between cabinets — three tiers of jars at fingertip reach.

Hidden trash & recycle pullout
Two soft-close stainless bins behind a flush cabinet front — no more visible bins.

Walnut cutlery organizer
Custom-fit wood divided trays inside soft-close drawers, sized to your silverware.

Corner lazy susan pullout
Two rotating wire shelves recover the dead corner — pots, pans, and sheet trays.

Hidden paper towel pullout
Slim vertical drawer with a spring rod for the roll — out of sight off the counter.

Vertical tray divider
Walnut slots for cookie sheets, cutting boards, and serving trays standing on edge.

In-drawer knife block
Walnut wood insert holds chef knives flat in the drawer — no counter knife block.

Under-cabinet LED task lighting
Warm-white strips light the countertop where you actually prep — wired to a discreet switch.

Why our cabinets outlast
the box-store version.
A side-by-side look at how the Shaker-series cabinets we build compare to the flat-pack stock sold at IKEA, Home Depot, and Lowe's. Same shaker look — very different construction underneath.
- Cabinet box materialFull plywood (sides, floor, back, toe kick)Particleboard or thin MDF with veneer
- Door & drawer front3/4" solid wood, 5-piece shaker constructionThermofoil or thin MDF panels

- Door hinges6-way adjustable concealed soft-closeBasic 2-way hinges, often no soft-close
- Base reinforcementSteel corner bracket inside every base cabinetNo internal bracing — boxes can rack over time
- Interior finishUV-coated plywood — wipes clean, no off-gasPrinted laminate that chips at the edges
- Install crewOur own in-house crew, end-to-end accountabilityBox-store handoff to a sub you'll never meet
Flat-pack box-store cabinets are priced for the warehouse, not your home. The cheaper boxes sag at the hinges within a couple of years, the printed-laminate interiors chip at every edge, and side-mount glides bind on the heavy drawers people actually load. Our Shaker series is built like custom cabinetry — full plywood, dovetail drawer boxes, soft-close everything — and installed by the same crew that engineered it. That’s why we back the whole project, not just a box.

Common questions.
Do you remove our old kitchen?
Yes — demo and disposal of the existing kitchen is included in the install scope. Appliance disconnection is included; reconnection of gas/water lines is coordinated with our trade partners.
Can you match an existing cabinet finish?
We can closely match most painted finishes. Exact wood-stain matches are not guaranteed because of grain and aging — we’ll bring samples on the in-home visit.
How long does an install take?
Most kitchens install in 3–5 working days. Countertop templating happens after cabinet install, with a separate 7–10 day fabrication window.
